Description

The Hawk u8 GEO is mobility-first by design, proven in challenging and dynamic environments. Kymeta’s proprietary pointing and tracking solution ensures best-in-class connectivity on the move. The Hawk u8 is an economical solution for anyone who needs to stay reliably connected while off the beaten path.

Geostationary Orbit (GEO)

GEO networks offer the most stable satellite connectivity option, with the trade-off that there is more latency than with lower orbits. With the Hawk u8 GEO, you can connect to your own provider, or signup for a Kymeta plan ranging from 5 to 240 GB/month, optimized connectivity via satellite and cellular, standard/TRANSEC satellite plans, and up to 10 terminals in one plan.

Who’s using Hawk u8?

Best in-class with a proven track record, the Hawk u8 has the most hours of real-world operation for any terminal in its class. A proven solution in remote, mobile and/or harsh conditions, the Hawk u8 is an economical solution for first responders, passenger transporters, freight operators, energy companies and more.

  • Commercial fleets

Workhorse fleets pass in and out of connectivity, which can have an impact on safety and monitoring.  Stay connected to your fleet like never before, whether they’re engaged in public safety, agriculture, forestry or commercial autonomous operations.

  • Passenger transportation

With wireless infrastructure between cities being inconsistent, Kymeta helps passenger bus and rail services to stay connected so they can maintain operations and provide access to their customers.

  • Energy industry

From pipelines to drilling rigs, exploration vehicles to solar and wind farms — energy companies operate in some of the harshest and most remote environments on land or sea. Uninterrupted satellite connectivity allows you to maximize productivity in your operations.
